Climate Change Emotions in Homo Science Podcast
We invite you to listen to our broadcast, where we share the results of our research on the emotions Poles experience in response to the climate crisis. Two members of our team – project leader Artur Marchewka and PhD student Dominika Zaremba from the Nencki Institute in Warsaw – discuss the Climate Emotions Inventory created by the team, a tool designed to examine feelings such as fear, anger, helplessness, or disdain in the context of climate change.
We also talk about how scandals involving politicians organizing COP climate summits – who often lobby for fossil fuel sales instead of acting for climate protection – influence our emotions and actions. How do these emotions impact global warming? Can we, as a society, change the direction we are heading?
