ABOUT ME:
I am a professor in social psychology and quantitative methods at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway. I lead the research group of “Citizens, Environment, and Safety”. In this group, I initiate and participate in projects studying drivers and barriers of environmental behaviour, innovative environmental communication and climate psychology. In this project I am particularly interested in finding out how emotional stress which might be caused by being exposed to the constant threat of climate change impacts the willingness to act against climate change.
